[WCDC] [Updated] Re: absentee ballots

Thanks Richard.  The easiest way to get an absentee ballot is to call 622.6233 and request one.  This cuts down on an extra step of downloading an application, mailing it, and waiting for a ballot.

But both options are open.  It would just be good to spread the word on requesting by phone

You get them directly from the Maine Democratic Party.  Your town clerk should be able to tell you how to get the absentee ballot from the MDP.  I believe that you download the absentee ballot request form from the MDP website here:

The absentee ballot request form is immediately available via download from the above URL.  The town clerk will probably have the information for receiving it via snail mail, if your neighbor desires it that way.

If needed, here is the link for the caucus convener training too...

Rich,

I missed the part of last Friday's meeting when the info re when absentee ballots for the caucus would be available

and phone number for Maine Dem. party to get ballots was given.

I came in when Faith was talking about this. The Town Offices will/won't have ballots or know/not know where people can get them.

Our neighbor asked today when he could get an absentee ballot. Where can he get it, and when?

I would very much appreciate your help.

Thanks,

Norma
